Hi Domenico; soccer player and the only ultimate mahagoni fan!

I had to post this! The title has to do with creation of a program for the local joiner alliance. Since we (Domenico and I) did not know which kind of wood to put into the program (for our tests) we used "mahagoni"... Everything was mahagoni in the program :D haha!!

We had a kitchen made in mahagoni and a type of furniture that was "mahagonisiert". So much fun!

Who is Domenico? He is a student at the technical university of vienna (like me). I did not know him before this summer and he did not develop one line of code before this summer. But he learned so fast: *THUMBS UP* for him! Great work, Domenico! We had not to fix any bug in your code (a yes, one, but that was not really your bug).

Cheers everybody!

[Opf3] Visual Studio 2005 RC1, Next version of Opf3 and Opf3 Wizard Beta 2 + Firebird Storage

Hi everybody! I downloaded the release candidate 1 of Visual Studio 2005, yesterday. Today I installed it and after a few tweaks it was very easy to make Opf3 "RC1" ready :)

The next version of the Opf3 framework will be released next week! I guess monday... or the day after. Opf3 Wizard Beta 2 is also ready and will be released the same day as the Opf3 framework.

That day we will also release a demo of the Opf3 Wizard!

We will also release a storage for the FireBird storage. The provider will be available with the next release of the Opf3 framework.

Back from Turkey: feeling sick :(

Hi everybody, sorry for the delay. It's now quite a time that i posted something in my blog. I was on vacation in turkey (as mentioned in the last post) and I'm back now. It was really cool: we went on a trip on a speed boat, rent some jet skis etc...

The only problem is that I'm feeling sick since i'm back. I was at the doctor's and he told me that this could be a problem with my stomach. He said that I have a problem with getting the vitamis from the stuff I eat. My stomach has a problem to "extract" them.

I'm feeling weak: I'm lying around, doing nothing - everything is to much. The doctor gave me a medicine and I hope it is getting better soon. We will see...

I have the Beta 2 of the Opf3 Wizard quite ready. I finished the work already before I went to my vacation, but I haven't had any time to publish it yet. It is also missing some tests.
The next version of Opf3 is also quite ready. There are still a few little bugs to fix. Therefore the next version will take a little bit until released. I was hoping to wait for the RC1 of Visual Studio 2005. It's always so confusing with the CTPs. Should the new version target the newest CTP or an older one or still BETA2?

I didn't hear when the RC1 of Visual Studio 2005 is going to be released. Does anybody know more?
